Proofreading & Editing
To ensure the mechanical accuracy and message content of our translations, The Language Bank incorporates an editing and proofreading process. This process involves an independent review of the translation by a native speaking professional in the target language to check for any errors in grammar, style, and/or imprecise usage of terminology. The editor's recommendations are supplied with the original text and incorporated into the final translation. Many times this involves discussion and consensus between the translator and the editor to obtain the most accurate meaning of the text. Additionally, our clients sometimes need only proofreading of pre-translated text. Our translator will require a copy of both source and target language documents. If required, our translator will provide edits and corrections. We can provide a notarized certificate verifying the accuracy of the pre-existing translation (inclusive of the edits and corrections, if any).
Transcription
We have the ability to transcribe any video, tape or sound byte into text. We have transcribers with extensive experience in most subject matters. We can turn around a large project in a very short period of time.
E-Mail Translation
The Language Bank also offers translation of E-Mails from English to most languages and from most languages to English. This service allows businesses and individuals to communicate with anyone with access to E-Mail worldwide.
Should your business need to communicate with another business via E-Mail, the message is forwarded to our address and TLB translates the message within minutes then sends it to the recipient you have chosen. A copy is also sent to the sender.
